Program Description:

In today’s geographically-dispersed business world, virtual workforces have become more common. But how do you build a cooperative and productive team if you can’t meet face-to-face? This live online webinar will give you the communication skills to develop and motivate a successful virtual team.

This will be a fun interactive hour with Ryan Akins, Regional President at Dale Carnegie North Texas

• Define the skill sets important to virtual team members and leaders
• Identify the five success factors for building and leading virtual teams
• Explore prevailing myths about leading virtual teams and ways to overcome them

Ryan Akins, Regional President, Dale Carnegie North Texas
Ryan believes that every person deserves the opportunity to reach their highest potential.  He helps give people this opportunity by serving as Regional President for Dale Carnegie North Texas.  Since taking this role in 2011, he has worked to ensure all training programs delivered generate meaningful and measurable breakthroughs for leaders and their organizations.  He has personally coached executives in the sectors of Health Care, Oil & Gas, Construction, and Financial Services, to develop their leadership skills.

Prior to Dale Carnegie, Ryan worked for 10 years in private equity, with a focus on the commercial real estate space.  While at The Bascom Group, he worked with institutional debt and equity partners to acquire and oversee over 9,900 apartment units in the state of Texas, with total capitalization of over $750 million. Ryan also led the renegotiation of commercial real estate loans with multiple lenders during the financial crisis of 2007-2010.

Non-member senior financial executives who are CFOs, Vice Presidents of Finance, Directors of Finance and Controllers (or the like) are welcome to attend this program for 
$80. 

Please note that service providers or any executives who are not senior financial executives (CFOs, Vice Presidents of Finance, Controllers, Directors of Finance, etc.) will not be admitted attendance to this event. The CFO Leadership Council reserves the right to decline any registration.
