ABOUT THE SPEAKERS:
Les Allan, Managing Director and COO, Creo Montminy & Co. - Mr. Allan brings to CM&Co. nearly 30 years of diversified investment banking and asset management experience. He oversees operations at the firm and is responsible for institutional relationships and strategic alliances. Prior to CM&Co., Mr. Allan was the President of the Los Angeles Investment Company, LLC, a privately held company that provided advisory services. Previously, Mr. Allan served in senior leadership positions in banking and industry with Cargill, Lehman Bros, Goldman Sachs and Jefferies. Mr. Allan led the MBO of Cargill Investor Services and founded and launched Goals Soccer Centers in the United States. Mr. Allan began his career in his hometown Edinburgh with the asset manager, Ivory and Sime, following his graduation with a degree in accounting. Mr. Allan is registered with FINRA and holds the Series 7, 24, 63 and 79 licenses and is currently a director of the Rose Bowl Legacy Foundation Advisory Board and a member of Foothill Family Services Board of Directors.
Jacqueline Davis, CPA is a member of the Los Angeles CFOLC steering committee and the COO & CFO of rapidly growing 24Hr HomeCare, a 4,000-employee provider of non-medical homecare to clients in California, Texas, and Arizona. She oversees all aspects of operations, business intelligence, finance & accounting, real estate and insurance.
Her career spans more than 23 years of experience in business leadership, financial management, process transformation, and operations excellence. Ms. Davis has established a reputation for building world-class teams, as well as aligning business and financial metrics to support company strategy and rapid growth.
Prior to joining 24HrHomeCare, she spent several years leading finance, accounting, and technology implementation teams for start-ups, global and Fortune 500 companies, such as Snapchat, MySpace, Mattel, Toyota Financial Services, and KPMG.
Ms. Davis is a CPA and holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from Loyola Marymount University.
Adnan Qamar, Managing Director, Strategy, KPMG - With more than 15 years of experience across a range of industries, Adnan has led case teams in growth strategy, market and competitive strategy, M&A strategy, commercial and operational diligence, operating model design and integration strategy development, and post-deal value enhancement projects. Adnan has experience working with both corporate clients and private equity investors. He has performed strategic and diligence assessments for cross-border transactions across a range of international markets. In 2016, Adnan was a recipient of the “Top 40 Under 40” Emerging Leader award given by The M&A Advisor, an industry publication. Prior to joining KPMG, Adnan’s experiences include working at another global business consulting firm, a boutique biotech consulting firm, and The Dow Chemical Company. Adnan earned a BS in Chemical Engineering from UC Berkley, and an MBA from UCLA Anderson School of Management.
Guarav Sud, Senior Managing Director, Aon - Prior to joining Aon's Transaction Solutions team in 2014, Gaurav was an associate most recently at Fenwick & West LLP in Silicon Valley (from 2011 to 2014) and previously at Shearman & Sterling LLP in New York (from 2007 to 2011), specializing in public and private mergers and acquisitions, private equity and venture capital investment transactions and other strategic corporate transactions, as well as fund formation and corporate governance matters for private equity sponsors and U.S. and global strategic clients spanning a wide range of industries. Prior to attending law school, Gaurav was an M&A paralegal at Wachtell, Lipton, Rosen & Katz in New York. Gaurav attended Amherst College and Vanderbilt University Law School.
