Program Description

While CFO’s across all organizations demonstrate strong financial acumen and functional expertise, the most successful CFO’s acknowledge the need to leverage competencies beyond financial oversight that align with the tenets of their organization’s strategy, culture, and stakeholders.  Join us for "Think Like a CEO" where our expert panel will share their perspectives on how a CFO can deliver value for internal and external stakeholders, what CEO’s want from their CFO’s and recent changes to the demands of the position.  

 

In sharing both their positive and negative experiences, our panel will provide the audience with a better understanding of the skills necessary to drive true CFO leadership across your organization.

To register for this program, simply complete the form above. Current CFO Leadership Council members may attend this program for free.  CFO Leadership Council members from all our chapters may also attend for free. Non-member senior financial executives who are CFOs, Vice Presidents of Finance, Directors of Finance and Controllers (or the like) are welcome to attend this program for 
$60. 

Please note that service providers or any executives who are not senior financial executives (CFOs, Vice Presidents of Finance, Controllers, Directors of Finance, etc.) will not be admitted attendance to this event. The CFO Leadership Council reserves the right to decline any registration.

Brent Wilde, VP Corporate Solutions, Cresa
Brent joined the Cresa Minneapolis team having spent nearly 30 years in the healthcare industry in both CFO and CEO roles. He is an accomplished executive with proven success in leading organizations. His background in operations and finance leadership adds unique perspective in finding the best solutions for Cresa’s clients. Additionally, Brent values developing strong and lasting relationships. He believes success is measured in the long term and is the result of careful analysis, well-developed strategic planning, and a total team effort.

Scott Riddle, CEO & President, Walker Methodist
Scott Riddle, Chief Executive Officer and President, leads all aspects of Walker Methodist's operations, mission, vision, and strategy. As Chief Executive Officer and President, Scott leads the development of organizational strategies, as well as oversees the creation and implementation of the organization’s mission, vision, and direction. He joined the organization as Chief Financial Officer in April 2013 and was named Chief Executive Officer and President in 2014.

Prior to joining Walker Methodist, Scott worked as the Vice President of Finance at Ecumen. His professional experience includes Finance roles at International Multifoods and Northwest Airlines and in diverse industries such as consumer auto rental and medical device, among others. He holds an MBA from the University of St. Thomas and a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from Bethel College. He volunteers his time as a Member of the Board on the Finance Committee for Aging Services of Minnesota.

JD Harris, CEO, Ascent Solutions
JD Harris is the Chief Executive Officer of Ascent Solutions LLC, one of the fastest growing technology services companies in the nation, headquartered out of Minneapolis, MN. Between executive positions at Microsoft and Ernst & Young, JD has been a part of 5 fast-growth technology companies, including two that had successful sales to 3M and Amazon. At Ascent Solutions, JD is attempting to rewrite the rules on how a company can grow and succeed with unique core values, a different approach to consulting services, and a team that aspires for something greater than mere financial success (although that’s important too!). Ascent Solutions has been a BOLD Awards nominee or finalist 4 of the last 5 years, were recently awarded a Twin Cities Business “Best of Business” Award, and are one of 5 finalists for Microsoft’s Global Azure Security Partner of the Year.

Cindy Sattler, Chief Financial Officer, Archway Marketing Services
Cindy is the Chief Financial Officer of Archway Marketing Services and has more than 20 years of executive leadership experience in various industries including manufacturing, retail services and real estate. Cindy is responsible for the financial strategy of Archway and oversees accounting, financial planning and analysis, treasury and tax, legal and risk management.

She has experience in leading high-growth organizations and extensive experience in mergers and acquisitions. Prior to joining Archway, Cindy was at Lawrence Merchandising Services where she started as CFO then became the CEO for three years before migrating back to the CFO role as the company was positioned for sale.

Cindy also was the Chief Administrative Officer at HomeServices of America, Inc., a Berkshire Hathaway subsidiary and held leadership positions at Polaris Industries, Alliant Techsystems and Honeywell. Cindy is a CPA and holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting from the University of North Dakota and a MBA from the University of Minnesota’s CEMBA program.
