PROGRAM DESCRIPTION

The Accounting and Finance function is changing, as a financial executive how doyou change with it.  Should you becomea Virtual CFO or have a Virtual Team? 

Virtual CFO and teams are quickly emerging. Many organizations do not have in-housefinancial leadership, financial expertise nor bookkeeping, yet they will require more than an accountant – they require a Virtual CFO (vCFO) – a regular member of the team who is involved in all meetings and decisions like a full-timeCFO, just not full time.  These organizations may want to outsource transaction processing and focus on key business drivers – the Virtual A&F office.

LEARNING OBJECTIVES

        Discuss the provision of bookkeeping services (or aligning with a bookkeeping provider)

        Learn about using a virtual office

        Define vCFO

        Explain the differences between a consulting role and a virtual team member’s role

        Illustrate how vCFO can be a profitable “advisory service” to offer

In additionshe has received numerous awards and appointments during her career, including an appointment to the Prime Minister's Task Force on Women Entrepreneurs, Ontario and Chapter Distinguished Service awards with CGA, Royal Bank Women Entrepreneurs finalist and Oakville Community Environmental Award.

CFO Leadership Council members from all our chapters may also attend for free. Non-member senior financial executives who are CFOs, Vice Presidents of Finance, Directors of Finance and Controllers (or the like) are welcome to attend this program for US$50 plus HST.

 

Please note that service providers or any executives who are not senior financial executives (CFOs, Vice Presidents of Finance, Controllers, Directors of Finance, etc.) will not be admitted attendance to this event. The CFO Leadership Council reserves the right to decline any registration.
