Program Description:

Today’s economic climate provides employees with many career options which makes attracting, recruiting and retaining top talent increasingly challenging. Businesses are finding it difficult to find and keep employees and keep them engaged and productive, especially top performers who have been approached with competitive opportunities.

Join us for “Attracting Top Talent:  How to Make Your Company Attractive,” where our panel of experts will address these challenges and provide insights into how to successfully recruit, maintain and motivate top talent. Our speakers will share their first-hand experience, their lessons learned, and share practical solutions attendees can utilize within their organizations. We’ll focus on compensation and benefits, professional development, recruiting strategies and how to create a work environment that will maximize the performances of a multi-generational workforce.

Elizabeth Chrane, EVP of Corporate Culture & Development, One Digital

Elizabeth Chrane leads human resources, talent management and culture for OneDigital. This award winning, innovative executive joined the company in 2008 and managed the marketing team until stepping into the role of cultural leader in 2015. She defines a clear relationship between organizational culture and a broad set of business outcomes, including company values, employee attitudes and financial performance.

Prior to joining the OneDigital team, Elizabeth had 15 years of experience in the financial services and healthcare industries. Based on her leadership roles at Opteum Financial Services, HomeBanc Mortgage and TLC Laser Eye Centers, she was recognized by the Atlanta Business Chronicle as “Up and Comers: 40 Under 40” and received the American Marketing Association’s Maverick “Marketer of the Year” award.

She has a bachelor’s in business from Wake Forest University and has completed executive certificate programs at Emory University Goizueta Business School and University of Georgia Terry School of management.

 

Jessica Jones, Vice President People Development and Administration, Jacksonville Jaguars, Inc.

Jessica Jones is the Jaguars Vice President of People Development and Administration for the Jacksonville Jaguars, Bold Events, Union Jax and the Jaguars Foundation.  Now in her 7th season with the Jaguars, Jessica is responsible for leading the Jaguars overall human resources strategy, talent acquisition, leadership development, diversity and inclusion, organizational design and cultural development, employee education and development, compensation, HR operations and employee relations. As Vice President of People Development and Administration, she has changed the function, culture, and impact of HR across the Jaguars to support its business goals and strategies as well as the needs and aspirations of its employees. She has worked with leaders across the Jaguars many lines of business to build and manage an HR organization that reflects and supports their dynamic needs.

As head of HR Jessica has overseen efforts that have resulted in: more effective and streamlined companywide talent acquisition practices that better utilize technology; a new HRIS system for onboarding and performance management; an analytical and thoughtful process for interviewing, with a view towards attracting candidates with a variety of experiences and from a variety of backgrounds; and more thoughtful, comprehensive talent management and talent development programs which has resulted in greater accountability, stronger collaboration among businesses, improved efficiency, and increased effectiveness in meeting business needs. 

Prior to joining the Jaguars, Jessica worked in a variety of roles in employment law, contract management and litigation.

Jessica serves on the Board of Directors for the North Florida Juvenile Diabetes Foundation and is a member of the Florida CHRO Summit Governing Body.  In 2017 Jessica was named in the Winner’s Circle for Top Corporate Leader Over 35 by HR.com, and is a frequent speaker and member of the planning committee for the annual NFL HR Summit.

 

Dolly Penland, President and CEO, Business Results, LLC

Dolly Penland is a Human Capital Strategist who works with organizations helping them to hire and manage their talent to their highest potential. She was an award-winning freelance journalist with more than 20 years’ experience specializing in business news before focusing her talents on business advice and consultation. Penland specializes in multiple areas including helping businesses grow sales, reduce turnover and develop leaders.

 

Shawn Ziemba, Managing Director, Randstad Professionals

Shawn Ziemba is the Managing Director of Randstad Professionals, and she specializes in accounting & finance for Randstad.  Built on 30 years of expertise, Randstad Professionals provides specialized recruiting services to a diverse portfolio of clients ranging from Fortune 500 companies to small and mid-sized businesses spanning multiple industries.  She has been a specialized recruitment professional for over 15 years and her goal is to connect top-notch talent with great companies of all sizes and industries.

Registration

CFO Leadership Council members may attend this program for free. Non-member senior financial executives who are CFOs, Vice Presidents of Finance, Directors of Finance and Controllers (or the like) are welcome to attend this program at a one-time cost of $60.

Please note that service providers or any executives who are not senior financial executives (CFOs, Vice Presidents of Finance, Controllers, Directors of Finance, etc.) will not be admitted attendance to this event. The CFO Leadership Council reserves the right to decline any registration.
