Dean Andersen, CFO, G&A Partners
Dean Andersen is the CFO at G&A Partners and has been at G&A since March 2014. He oversees the accounting, treasury, and payroll tax functions. A CPA since 1988, Dean majored in Accounting at Brigham Young University and later received an MBA at the University of Houston. Previous roles included work at Arthur Andersen in Taxation and as VP of Finance of Extra Space Storage. He spent over 18 years at Air Liquide in Houston, Dallas, Sydney, and Paris, with roles as a Project Finance Manager, Controller, and Director of Acquisitions for the Americas. Dean has volunteered for many years with his church and with the Boy Scouts of America. He speaks French and Japanese.
Geri Pacheco, CPA, CCIFP, Chief Financial Officer
Geri Pacheco, CPA, has more than 25 years’ experience in progressively responsible finance roles for private enterprises. Geri oversees the finance, human resource and risk management departments for Arch-Con. While with Arch-Con, Pacheco has received the CFO of the Year Award three times in the small, medium and large private companies category from Houston Business Journal (for 2013, 2014, and 2017 as CFO of the Year and Executive of the Year). Arch-Con has been the recipient of the HBJ Fast 100 award for the past several years along with being #4 Best Places to Work for 2018.
With a Bachelor of Science in Accounting, she serves on the Board of Directors for the Texas Society of Certified Public Accountants (TSCPA), the Houston CPA Society and as director for Keep Kids Connected, a nonprofit organization that donates computers to children with life-threatening illnesses. Pacheco also served on the Board of Directors for CREW Houston, an organization for women in commercial real estate from 2014 to 2015 and continues to be an active member, serving on several committees and as Sponsorship Committee Chair for 2018 and 2019.
Jose F Laurel, HR Executive, G&A Partners
Jose oversees recruitment and client advisory services for G&A Partners. He has experience in management, operations, marketing and international commerce. Prior to joining G&A, Jose served as country manager in Latin America for a multinational corporation where he had direct oversight of the company’s operations, sales, and distribution channels. Jose is especially adept at assisting G&A clients in designing, implementing and measuring growth strategies. His areas of expertise include strategic planning, marketing/sales strategies, succession planning and people development.
Rob Andrews, Chairman & CEO
Based in Houston, Rob Andrews is Founder & Chief Executive Officer of Allen Austin. Rob leads Allen Austin’s global CEO, Consumer Packaged Goods & Durables Practice, and is also a member of the firm’s Leadership Advisory, Private Equity, Industrial and Marketing Officer practices. Building on his earlier
career experience as an operating president with major convenience store and supermarket chains, Rob conducts searches for board members, CEO and senior officers across a broad range of sectors. He also helped design and helps deliver Allen Austin’s premier Leadership Institute, Organizational Review,
Leadership Communications Dynamics, Culture Shaping and Extraordinary Service Leadership Program.
