Program Description

Financial leaders are increasingly called upon to not only focus on an organization’s financial health and strategic planning, but also in influencing and facilitating agreement amongst a wide variety of stakeholders. The art and science of negotiation is amongst the most valuable and coveted talents for any executive to have. From negotiating with partners and customers, to boards of directors, fellow executive team members, and more, financial executives constantly strive to achieve their goals while creating synergy and fostering good, long-term relationships.

Join us for ‘The Art and Science of Negotiation for Finance Executives,’ a highly interactive session that will help you develop effective negotiating strategies that maximize value and profitability while improving long-term relationships. You will also learn how to identify, understand, and neutralize difficult negotiators and their tactics, tailor your negotiation style to suit different settings, and recognize and address common pitfalls and problems typically encountered in negotiations.

Learning Objectives

  • Effective negotiation methods to handle all audiences
  • Tactics to diffuse and neutralize difficult negotiators
  • How to identify red flags and possible mistakes when negotiating
