Non-member senior financial executives who are CFOs, Vice Presidents of Finance, Directors of Finance and Controllers (or the like) are welcome to attend this program for $60.

 

Please note that service providers or any executives who are not senior financial executives (CFOs, Vice Presidents of Finance, Controllers, Directors of Finance, etc.) will not be admitted attendance to this event. The CFO Leadership Council reserves the right to decline any registration.

About Our Speakers

  

William B. Bell, CEO & Global President, Xcelerate Consulting

William B. Bell is a seasoned CEO and Global President with 20 years of company leadership expertise in building and restoring market share in the automotive business and discrete manufacturing settings. 

He is currently the founder and CEO of XCELERATE CONSULTING, a focused business development and growth acceleration consulting company that provides comprehensive business services to start-up businesses and midmarket companies looking to expand both domestically and internationally.

Throughout his business leadership career, as CEO for four different entities, he has restructured and turned around struggling entities in domestic and international settings. 

In his former role, as President and Chief Executive Officer of North America for Leadec Corporation, a leading provider of technical services for the automotive and manufacturing industries with 20,000 people worldwide, he helped transform and rebuild the North American automotive services organization. Under his leadership, his team grew the top line from $180M to $325M while significantly increasing the bottom line position over the past five years.

In his previous role, as Global CEO for Germany-based Dürr Ecoclean GmbH, William orchestrated the restructuring of nine separate companies in Europe, Asia, and South America to move from a loss position to a position of sustainable growth and profitability.  He grew the top line from $280M to $475M within a three year period.

Before his global role, William served as  Dürr Ecoclean’s  President and Chief Executive Officer for North America and helped deliver a 30% cost reduction while increasing EBIT $4M in the 1st  year. 

Prior to this, he held the role of President and CEO of Schenck Rotec Corporation, a subsidiary of Dürr AG, where he empowered a sales volume growth from $17M to $50M within just 24 months.

From 1990 to 2003, William served as North American Vice President of Sales for Carl Zeiss IMT Corporation, a global leader in Industrial Metrology Equipment and Services, where he helped grow the start-up’s top line from $4 million to $85 million.   

William holds a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from the University of Pittsburgh. He continuously hones his leadership skills and has completed the Executive Education Program from Ross School of Business at the University of Michigan.   

Christopher M. Caron, Chief Operating Officer, Argent International, Inc.

With over 20 years of finance and operational experience, Christopher Caron is differentiated by an uncommon combination of strong business acumen, analytic rigor, and strategic vision. He has a special aptitude for discerning business on a large scale and then narrowing down complexities to develop highly practical and pragmatic solutions that bring Wall Street-like leadership to main-street businesses.

At Argent International – Christopher leads as Chief Operating Officer (COO), where he manages and drives the daily business operations. Upon taking over the position earlier this year, he was tasked with the major overhaul of the companies structure to reduce redundant positions and jump-start worker efficiency. While providing inventive solutions and expanding business capabilities, Christopher has empowered colleagues and customers alike. Through implementing a new company leader structure, introducing high-impact quality certification programs and go-to-market strategies, Christopher is working on taking Argent to the next level of success.

Christopher previously served as Chief Financial Officer (CFO) and Chief Operating Officer (COO) of Full Spectrum Solutions, where he managed the company’s finances and day-to-day operations. In 2016, Christopher led a highly successful turnaround of the company, which took the organization from over-leveraged and unprofitable to debt-free in less than two years, shattering historical sales and profitability records.

Prior to his success at Full Spectrum, Christopher was Chief Financial Officer (CFO) and Director of Operations for HITEC Sensor Solutions, Inc., the leading sensor development company on the east coast. Throughout his 15-year career at HITEC, where he started as an Assistant Controller, he played a key role, increasing annual revenue over 700%, through the implementation of operational processes, controls and enhanced financial reporting infrastructures.  His efforts were monumental in allowing HITEC to capitalize on the growing OEM sensor market. Additionally, Christopher led the company’s successful strategic acquisition of Sensor Development.

Christopher is a founding member and actively serves on the Board of the CFO Leadership Council of Detroit where he strives to empower senior financial executives to realize success in their careers, as well as for the people and companies they work for, by developing tangible and pragmatic insight on business and leadership issues that these executives face in their day-to-day lives.

Christopher resides in Saline, Michigan where he spends his time with his wife, four children and French bulldogs, riding his Harley and maintaining his physical fitness. He holds a BS in Business Administration with a Finance concentration.

Trisha Henry, Division Director, Vaco

As a Division Director at Vaco, an executive search firm, Trisha utilizes her accounting and industry knowledge to help accounting and finance individuals find great opportunities while simultaneously curating the right talent for her clients based on their culture and organizational needs. She is a graduate of the University of Southern California, with bachelor’s degrees in Accounting as well as Finance. Outside of the office, she’s involved in Junior League.


Lisbeth Keast, VP, Director of Human Resources, SPHR, MRM/McCann

Lisbeth Keast has 20+ years of experience working in client service, business management, and human resources, in the advertising and marketing industry. She has held leader-level positions with: The Mars Agency, Arc Worldwide (a Publicis Company) and GTB (a WPP company). She is currently VP, Director of HR at MRM (an IPG agency); and has been appointed SVP, Director of HR for McCann (an IPG agency) starting January 1, 2020.

Throughout her career Lisbeth has gained deep knowledge for managing organizational change while meeting business demands, at a national and global level. She has a passion for coaching and managing people to become strong leaders. Her style supports others by acknowledging others’ unique strengths and areas for growth, while aligning them with their personal and professional goals.

Lisbeth is an action-oriented leader with experience in: strategic human resource planning, recruiting, talent management, career path development, succession planning, performance management, training and development, HRIS implementation, resource planning, project management, and global business experience.

Lisbeth earned her Bachelor’s degree in Organizational Management and has been SPHR Certified since 2013 through the Human Resources Certification Institute. She is a Mentor with Salem High School through the Women of Tomorrow: Mentor and Scholarship Program, and is an active leader with her Diversity & Inclusion Committee at her company.
