Hemant Kumar, CFO and SVP Finance, SOL-MILLENNIUM Medical Group, MODERATOR
Hemant Kumar is Chief Financial Officer of Sol-Millennium Medical Group. He is also a member of Sol-M Board of Directors. Sol-Millennium is a global medical device company with sales in more than forty countries, manufacturing footprint in China and Poland, and R&D Centers in Switzerland and China.
Prior to Sol-M, Hemant has served in various leadership positions with Baxter, American Express, and Delphi (General Motors) in various geographies across the globe. He has a demonstrated track record of surpassing expectations in demanding Fortune 250 corporate environments as well high growth smaller organization. He is a strong leader with ability to influence teams from different cultures to deliver outstanding results. Hemant did his Chartered Accountancy (CPA eq.) and Management Accountancy (CMA eq.) from New Delhi. He did his Bachelor’s in Commerce (Hons.) from Delhi University.
Brad Terry, Senior Principal, The Keystone Group
Brad Terry is a Senior Principal with the Keystone group, a boutique middle-market-focused management consulting firm, with extensive experience working with Finance departments across many private-equity owned, privately held, family-owned, and public companies. Brad’s clients have spanned manufacturing, distribution, service, retail and logistics businesses in a variety of industries and situations ranging from high growth to distressed. Brad’s roles have included traditional management consultant, interim controller, and CFO. Brad firmly believes that the Finance function exists to serve the commercial and operational engines within an organization, and should act as a partner to the business rather than an inhibitor. Brad earned both his undergraduate business and master of accounting degrees from the University of Michigan, and is a registered CPA in the state of Illinois.
Dan Malone, General Manager, Midway Building Services and Midway Restoration
Dan Malone is the General Manager at Midway Building Services and Midway Restoration. Dan runs the day to day operations and his responsibilities include Finance, Operations, Business Development, Marketing, HR and IT. He is also contributing support to Midway Flooring on finance, strategic planning and general business items.
Dan’s positions over the last 15 years:
Big Red Rooster Flow Inc, CFO. Dan was a key member of the executive team that was responsible for the strategic direction of the organization in addition to running the finance group.
Retrotech Inc., Director of Finance. Dan was responsible for all Finance, Marketing and IT functions. While at Retrotech Dan along with the CEO was responsible for successfully selling the organization to a strategic partner.
FLOR Inc., VP of Finance and Operations. Dan was a key member of the senior team creating the FLOR business and the FLOR consumer brand. Dan was responsible for Finance, Operation, Marketing and IT.
Dan’s career has always been focused on finance, but he has thrived in environments where he is able to wear many hats. In addition to being the lead finance executive for the last 15 years, he has also been responsible for Operations, IT, and Marketing. These experiences came both at large public companies and privately held, fast growing organizations.
Sumit Dangi, SVP & CFO, HSBC
Sumit serves as a critical thought leader and business manager and is responsible for strategy/operational planning, vendor management and procurement of global teams spanning 34 countries. Sumit oversees PMO, finance, and resourcing for overall Data Transformation program. He is also responsbile for creating and implementing blueprint and target operating models. Sumit manages 250+ offshore teams in multiple locations.
