Words like nimble, adaptable, and insatiably curious are just some of the attributes that have been associated with what it takes to make it as a successful CEO.

You, on the other hand, have made it to the highest level in finance because of your stability and dependability along with your ability to keep your team within the bounds and following the rules.

To be a successful CEO, according to the experts, you need to go from rule follower to rule maker (and sometimes rule breaker!) – how do you make this metamorphosis from CFO to CEO– do you have what it takes?

Join us on February 26th and hear from two very distinguished CEO’s (former CFOs), Michael Corkery, CEO, Deltek and Brad Dickerson, CEO, Blue Apron, as they share their journey. 

Find out what measures it took for each of them to go from the finance function to ultimately landing in their current role as CEO.


Learning Objectives

In this session attendees will:

  • Learn the differentiators of successful CFO’s and successful CEO’s and understand the importance of making the necessary changes

  • Learn specific actions the CFO can take today to help secure a CEO role in the future

  • Understand the personal attributes and skills needed to become an effective CEO


Breakfast and networking is from 7:30 a.m. to 8:00 a.m. Our program will start at 8:00 a.m. and end at 9:30 a.m.

Non-member senior financial executives who are CFOs, Vice Presidents of Finance, Directors of Finance and Controllers (or the like) are welcome to attend this program for $60.00.

Please note that service providers or any executives who are not senior financial executives (CFOs, Vice Presidents of Finance, Controllers, Directors of Finance, etc.) will not be admitted attendance to this event. The CFO Leadership Council reserves the right to decline any registration.
